The Management and staff of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) have joined the National Clean Ghana Campaign as part of efforts to promote environmental cleanliness and responsible sanitation practices across the country.
The exercise, held on Friday in line with government’s directive, was led by the Deputy Chief Executive for Agronomy and Quality Control at COCOBOD, Dr. Francis Baah.
The participation of the cocoa regulator formed part of its commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
During the exercise, COCOBOD staff engaged in sanitation activities as part of broader efforts to encourage good environmental practices and contribute to sustainable development.
Dr. Baah said the exercise reflected the Board’s dedication to working alongside other stakeholders to promote improved sanitation and public health.
COCOBOD reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance environmental sustainability and contribute to building a cleaner Ghana for present and future generations.
