Businessman Mr. Ibrahim Mahama has pledged to fully cover the medical expenses of Awuche, including the cost of his treatment and surgery, following his health challenges.
A representative of Mr. Mahama said the businessman has reached out to Awuche and his family to assure them of his full support during the difficult period.
As part of the arrangements, Awuche was transported to Tamale on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, where he has safely arrived and commenced medical procedures at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.
The support package includes coverage for hospital bills, medical treatment and surgery as part of efforts to ensure he receives the needed care for his recovery.
The family and supporters have appealed to the public to continue offering prayers and encouragement as Awuche begins his treatment journey.
They expressed hope for a successful procedure, a smooth recovery process and his eventual return to good health.
