The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has released the provisional results of the 2026 May/June Certificate II and other Technical Examinations.
A total of 61,506 candidates sat for the examinations, representing an 11.23 per cent increase from the 55,295 candidates recorded in 2025.
Of the total candidates, 45,357 were males and 16,149 were females.
The Commission said 36,874 candidates obtained general passes, representing approximately 62.4 per cent of those who sat for the examinations.
The Certificate II examinations covered both core and elective components. The core subjects were English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies and Entrepreneurship, while the elective component covered various trade and professional programmes.
CTVET has advised candidates to check their results online using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers provided on their index slips.
The Commission said the results of six candidates have been withheld pending investigations into alleged examination malpractices.
It added that the results of some other candidates have also been withheld because of administrative issues and will be released once those matters are resolved.
Candidates seeking further information have been directed to contact CTVET for assistance.
