The Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Mr. Sedem Afenyo, has officially introduced the contractor for the 3 Junction–Achiaman–Doblo Gonno road project, marking the commencement of construction on the long-awaited road.
The introduction took place during an engagement with residents and community leaders along the project corridor, where the MP outlined the scope of the works and reaffirmed his commitment to improving road infrastructure in the constituency.
Hon. Afenyo said the project forms part of efforts to address the transportation challenges faced by residents and improve access to communities along the stretch.
He urged residents to cooperate with the contractor throughout the construction period to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
The contractor also assured the community of its readiness to begin work immediately and pledged to deliver the project in accordance with the agreed specifications and timelines.
Residents welcomed the commencement of the project, expressing optimism that the road, which has been in poor condition for years, would improve transportation, facilitate business activities and enhance socio-economic development in the area.
