GoldBod Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, is expected to address concerns and criticisms surrounding the government’s GoldBod initiative at the next edition of the Government Accountability Series.
The programme is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, where Mr. Gyamfi will take the podium to respond to what organisers describe as a “campaign of calumny” against the initiative.
According to an announcement ahead of the event, the GoldBod CEO will use the platform to provide further explanations on the operations and objectives of the initiative and respond to criticisms from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The organisers said the programme will be broadcast live on major television and radio stations, allowing members of the public to follow the proceedings.
The Government Accountability Series forms part of efforts by the government to provide updates on its policies and programmes and engage the public on issues of national interest.
