Dzata Cement Limited, a subsidiary of Engineers and Planners has officially launched activities to commemorate its anniversary, marking five years of operations and highlighting its contribution to Ghana’s industrial development.
The anniversary celebration was held under a theme centred on the company’s growth, vision and ambition to become a major player in Ghana’s manufacturing sector.
According to the Managing Director, Nafisa Mahama, the said its establishment was driven by the vision of its founder, Ibrahim Mahama, to demonstrate that Ghanaians could establish, own and grow large-scale industries locally.
According to Dzata Cement Limited, the vision went beyond the establishment of a cement manufacturing plant to creating a Ghanaian-owned industrial enterprise capable of contributing to the country’s economic transformation.
Five years after commencing operations, the company says it is entering a new phase of growth with renewed focus on strengthening its operations and expanding its impact.
The anniversary also provides an opportunity for Dzata Cement to reflect on its journey, achievements and challenges while setting new targets for the years ahead.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local industrialisation and demonstrating the potential of Ghanaian-owned businesses to compete in large-scale manufacturing.
Dzata Cement said the fifth anniversary represents not an end point, but the beginning of what it described as an even more ambitious chapter in the company’s development.
