The newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ahafo Regional Chairman, Mr Robert Sarfo-Mensah, has paid a courtesy call on the party’s presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, to discuss strategic priorities for the region and the party ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The meeting was facilitated by the former Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Dr K.B. Tandoh, who led Chairman Sarfo-Mensah, popularly known as Booba, to meet Dr Bawumia.
The Member of Parliament for Tano North, Dr Gideon Boako, also joined the delegation for the engagement.
According to Dr Tandoh, the meeting provided an important platform for discussions on strategic issues affecting the Ahafo Region, as well as matters concerning the broader interests and future direction of the NPP.
Chairman Sarfo-Mensah used the occasion to reaffirm his support for the party’s leadership and expressed his commitment to working with stakeholders to advance the interests of the NPP in the Ahafo Region.
