Former Director of Communications for Bawumia for President 2024 campaign, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of National Communications Officer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Aboagye made his declaration as he seeks to lead the party’s communication strategy and strengthen its messaging ahead of the 2028 general elections.
In announcing his candidature, he is expected to highlight his experience in political communication, media engagement and public advocacy as key assets that will support his bid for the position.
The National Communications Officer role is responsible for coordinating the party’s communication activities, articulating its policies and responding to political developments on behalf of the NPP.
Mr. Aboagye’s decision adds to the growing interest in the party’s upcoming internal elections as various members position themselves for leadership roles ahead of the party’s rebuilding efforts.
The NPP is currently preparing for a series of internal elections aimed at reorganising its structures and strengthening the party at the grassroots level following its defeat in the 2024 general elections.
