Aspiring independent parliamentary candidate for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Abraham Aidoo, has assured residents of his commitment to running an open-door administration and respond to the needs of constituents if elected.
Mr Aidoo said he would make himself accessible to the people and work closely with them to identify practical solutions to challenges confronting communities within the constituency.
Speaking during an engagement with residents in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency Wednesday, he called for greater community participation in local development, stressing that government alone could not address every challenge facing citizens.
“We can do something for ourselves. Government can’t do everything for us. We, as a people, can come together and make BIG things happen,” he said.
According to Mr Aidoo, collective action and community-driven initiatives could complement government efforts and help accelerate development within the constituency.
He further urged residents to unite behind initiatives that would improve their communities and create opportunities for residents.
Reiterating his campaign message, “Together we WIN,” Mr Aidoo said his vision was to promote an inclusive approach to leadership in which constituents would have a voice and their concerns would receive the necessary attention.
