The Administrator of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), Sofo Tanko Rashid-Computer, has paid a courtesy call on the Ga Mantse, His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, at his palace in Kaneshie, Accra.
The visit was part of GIFEC’s efforts to engage traditional authorities and formally introduce the Fund’s leadership to the Ga Traditional Council.
During the meeting, Rashid-Computer outlined the Fund’s strategic plans and priority programmes aimed at expanding digital access and inclusion across the Ga State.

He also presented a donation of 10 laptops and 5 desktop computers to the Traditional Council to support its administrative work and operational activities through digital technology.
“We are committed to collaborating with the Ga Traditional Council to advance ICT development and improve electronic communications infrastructure,” he said.

His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II expressed gratitude for the visit and the donation, pledging his support for GIFEC’s initiatives to bridge the digital divide and promote socio-economic development in the community.
Rashid-Computer was joined by the Deputy Administrator, Nana Akyaa Amoah-Amissah, the Director of Corporate Affairs, Francisca Mawufemor Adjei, and other management staff.

The engagement underscores GIFEC’s commitment to working with traditional authorities to ensure universal access to electronic communications.
