Final funeral arrangements have been announced for veteran Ghanaian actress Grace Nortey, with her burial scheduled for Saturday, October 31.
The celebrated actress will be laid to rest as family, friends, colleagues and admirers gather to pay their final respects and celebrate her life and contribution to Ghana’s film and theatre industry.
A thanksgiving service in her memory will be held on Sunday, November 1, at St Barnabas Anglican Church at Osu in Accra.
The service is expected to provide an opportunity for loved ones, members of the creative arts community and the public to honour the late actress and reflect on her legacy.
Grace Nortey was a respected figure in Ghana’s entertainment industry, with a career spanning several decades.
The funeral arrangements will bring together the arts community and members of the public to bid farewell to one of Ghana’s veteran actresses.
