The people of Enyan Maim have installed Nana Okofo Kwame Fosu II as their new Paramount Chief.
The installation witnessed by the Minister of Finance, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson formed part of activities marking the community’s traditional celebrations, with the new Paramount Chief receiving the support and goodwill of the people.
The occasion was attended by community members and other dignitaries who gathered to witness the installation and celebrate the beginning of Nana Okofo Kwame Fosu II’s reign.
He succeeds the late Okofo Amoako Bondam III, whose tenure was brought to an end following his passing.
The celebration followed a durbar at Enyan Abaasa as part of the Akwambo Festival, after which the Minister who is also the Member of Parliament for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam Constituency in the Central Region proceeded to Enyan Maim to join the people in welcoming their newly installed traditional leader.
